June , 2006 To: Federal Trade Commission/Office of the Secretary, Room H-135 (Annex W) 600 Pennsylvania Avenue, NW Washington, DC 20580 Re: Business Opportunity Rule, R511993 Dear Sir or Madam: I am writing this email to express my strong opposition to the proposed Business Opportunity Rule R511993. This rule will destroy the legitimate MLM industry. It would so effectively destroy the industry, that I cannot help but wonder if that is actually the purpose. There are good and bad people and companies in every aspect of life. These rules place an unreasonable amount of burden on good people and good companies trying to make a living. Only a very few number of MLM distributors would have the time, motivation or resources to sponsor new distributors. Regular people like me, trying to make an extra buck, would be unable to cope with the new rules and would lose all of the time and money already invested in our small businesses.
