Legislators: We can understand the need for such a bill, obviously a lot of folks are being hurt by investing hard earned money in fraudulent opportunities that are leading to bankruptcies. Our experience with Shaklee an an in-home business has been very positive, we nor any of the people we have "sponsored' have gotten hurt financially. Everybody chooses their own level of involvement, we saw our Shaklee membership as a means of just supplementing our income 33 years ago and it did just that, as years went by, we began to see it more of a business, it now produces over $300,000 in gross sales from which we net about 20%....80% of our income to pay our taxes and bills. As for us the enactment of this legislation would, no doubt, bring our personal business as well as this 50 year old star of the personal or network marketing industry to a screeching halt and probably cause the demise of an industry that is now responsble for billions of dollars of revenue in our economy. Please look at this proposal very, very carefully and weigh all the options and be aware of the ramifications of enacting this legislation before your make your decision on 16CFR Part 437. Thank you, William and Dorothy Byrne, Executive Coordinators Shaklee Corporation
