I am a "stay at home Mom" but we aren't able to support our family of 4 on one full time job, even though my husband is a skilled and experienced plumber. We live with many cuts in our desired lifestyle in order to have mom home with the kids. Being able to raise our children personally, not in a childcare setting has been very important to our family. I want to be sure to instill our family's values and be the one teaching them their letters and kissing their boo boos. This sacrifice of income has only been possible because of my consulting with MLM businesses. It is the only thing that allows the flexibilty needed for a "stay at home Mom". (Actually we are rarely home but I am able to take the kids and they can learn real life experiences such as working, meeting deadlines, professionalism and responsibilties!) How many jobs can you take off in a moments notice because of a sick kid? How about the 3rd unexpected day in a row? Would you lose your job? I need to be able to make money and put my family first. I have 2 college degrees but those don't allow the flexibilty that I need to care for 2 small kids. The changes that are being proposed are unnecessary and overly controlling. Why make a mess of something that is working so well? Are you motivated by a larger piece of the pie? Then I will no longer be able to be sucessful as an independent consultant. Please do not pass these restrictions!!!
