I would very much like to see this Business Opportunity Rule placed into effect. Having been ensnared in Multilevel Marketing in the past, I would have been better informed and made better choices, had such a rule been in existence at the time. I lost a large sum of money due to deceptions about what the so-called business opportunity entailed. This Rule should help curb overinflated claims of income potential, under-emphasis of work requirements, neglect to inform of hidden costs, and force business opportunity sellers to provide clear, complete information to prospects. (Currently this is not always done, and was not done for me when I was presented with an MLM pitch.)
