I think this is a GOOD thing. I have been told by my up-line to close the sale ASAP on the potential recruitee before she changes her mind. I constantly run into people who have "left the biz" and now that I've been around several years, I know why. The biz op is represented as being easier than it is. "Working only 10 hours a week, holding 4 appointments a week, you can make $1-2 K a month.". Yeah -- right! In a perfect world. It doesn't count the meeting people, calling people, the pre & post work, and that's IF the party actually holds! Working 10 hours of face to face time (if it actaully panned out) is really closer to 20-30 hours. I've learned a lot in the last several years. But the truth is I can sell about $1000 a month, but I only keep $350-$400. It is SMART to give people a cooling off period and do some RESEARCH to ensure they have what it takes to run a biz, and if the MK model will work for them. I'm sticking around, but my expectations have been more realistically lowered. I might not have ever begun if I'd seen "the facts" and stats ahead of time. If something is too good to be true -- it probably is!!! Thanks for letting me vent! I won't give my real name because this sort of "negativity" would be frowned upon.
