To Whom It May Concern; I have been in direct sales for 9 years. It has helped my family to have financial comfort that I would not be able to provide with any other type of job because of time constraints. It has provided me with numerous interpersonal skills and I have made many friends by doing this. Isn't opportunity one of the principles that America was founded on? I urge you to reconsider this law as it is unfair to those of us who practice legitimate direct selling. It will cast direct sales in a negative light, lead to numerous bookkeeping /administrative problems and unnecessary delays in sales. I believe that the litigation reporting is also unfair in that it does not distinguish between those whom have won or lost lawsuits. It will bring identity theft / privacy issues to the forefront. The time spent finding the nearest 10 distributors is much better spent providing a service I believe. I understand and appreciate the FTC's goals, as I am certain that there are many fraudulent groups. I believe though, that this law will unfairly target those of us who practice fair, ethical business. Please don't penalize all of us for the unfair practices of some! Thank You,
