Gentlemen, This bill, Business Opportunity Rule, would be putting hardships and restrictions on small businesses as it is in its present form. Furthermore, you cannot legislate honesty and good morals. I have many contacts in the networking field. They are hard working people with integrity and a heart for helping people with their products and their business opportunity. I believe people should be allowed to use good judgment and their own methods of inquiry to be informed in any business they may undertake. Why should direct selling and networking be burdened with this legislature? Many people who can not find work, make the money they can in this industry, do not have the educational requirements, can through coaching and mentoring and hard work provide not only a good living for their families, but in the process become leaders in their communities. They learn to: 1. believe in themselves, 2. how to conduct professional meetings and trainings, 3. students of good business practices or they fail, 4. learn to become people oriented instead of self oriented, 5. learn the value of studying business formulas, 6. become students of great authors and their books to become polished, professional and good character traits. There is too much legislature in this country on good things and too much tolerance of the very things that will harm people and the very fiber of this great nation. Have we forgotten the blood, sweat and lost of life that our forefathers and current soldiers are offering up for the very things that are considered sacred to each of us in this country of the "free and the brave?" I ask you as a citizen of this great nation founded on Biblical principles to stop trying to legislate what is personal integrity and support the very businesses that teach free enterprise and all that it entails to succeed. Very truly yours, Chris Weymouth
