What I have read about the business opportunity rule sounds like it would hurt the direct sales company I work for rather than help it. I have worked for this company (Stampin' Up!) for 3 years now and have no problems with them. I have also in the past worked for Avon, Creative Memories and NewWays. I understand as I have signed up with each of these companies that it was my responsibility to check into them and read all the fine print before I signed anything. Granted I have not done any of these businesses trying to earn money for a full time job, but I don't see how this Business Opportunity Rule would help for well established businesses where there are relatively few complaints. this should be enforced for those companies that have a certain number of complaints or possibly even new companies, but not for those that are well established with happy direct salesmen underneath them. I can understand why this change may be needed, but please look into what can be done so it doesn't affect businesses with happy customers and direct salesmen. Thank You. Krysten Holloway
