10 years ago, my family became a family of 5 living on $200 a week after the earthquake in Northridge, CA and my husband and I couldn't even get food stamps because we had 2 cars. He lost 3 jobs in 18 months after working his tail off for over 18 years and and then my husband died of lung and brain cancer. I was so fortunate to have been introduced by my neighbor to a company called Mannatech before he passed and even though we had no money, I borrowed $1000.00 to start my own home based business. I worked hard and steady while raising 3 kids and trying to save my husband until me and the kidsI could just be with him until he died.I was trying to keep our heads above water and with the help and training from Mannatech, I and my girlfriend, were able to become business partners and developed a 6 figure a year income. My children are in wonderful private schools now, we bought our house and they eat great health foods that are considered expensive but I choose to feed them better because I can afford it now. This ruling will destroy the last All American dream of owning your own business and getting started with very little investment to pursue a better future as fast as you can. Had I not had the ability to move that quickly, I was trying to figure how we all were going to sleep in our jeep cherokee. Now, we have a roof over our heads and my success was geered to my own ambition with this incredible BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY. There is no RISK FREE business deal. But with reputable companies such as Mannatech, I have been able to save my family and others by teaching them how to run their own business professionally. Not just teach them how to sell! This is elevating our American citizens into ownership and being able to achieve dreams far beyond the employee status. A job stands for just over broke and that was where my husband and I could not break out of until the Business Opportunity came to us. Please understand that this ruling is distructive to those like me praying for a way to give our families a better way of life with little education and little money.
