I would like to submit an article co-authored by me and Mr. Erv Blythe, Vice President for Information Technologies at Virginia Tech.  This article, published in the most recent edition of the publication 'Virginia Issues and Answers' as the counterpoint to an anti-net neutrality piece, stresses the importance of viewing the Internet as a public good, as opposed to exclusively a commercial profit-making engine.  Please consider the points made in this article when deliberating on the pros and cons of a codified network neutrality policy.
