Comments:
The amount of hard liquor advertising on "family" cable stations (TNT, USA, etc.) has increased dramatically. Many of these ads are highly laced with direct sexual appeal or less than subtle sexual innuendo. The warning to "drink responsibly" which appears in several of the ads is present in a mocking tone. Are there no limits on cable advertising? At this stage I fully expect to see the return of cigarette ads in the near future. I would like to see some ad standards applied to the cable industry. Thank you for your concern with these issues.
