Numerous studies have confirmed that all chronic diseases faced by people in the US can be prevented by consuming a whole foods, plant-based diet. (see the book: "The China Study" by T. Colin Campbell for references). For this reason, I as a nutrition researcher, support eliminating all advertisments of food that are not whole, plant foods.
