I would like to suggest that you require credit card issuers to report consumers' credit limits to the credit reporting agencies. Many credit card issuers such as Capitol One only report a consumer's high balance. This practice can severely drive down the credit score for many consumers who are completely unaware of the complicated FICO scoring process! For more on this, I am adding a link and attaching a file to a well written Washington Post article: http://www.washingtonpost.com/ac2/wp-dyn/A25109-2004Dec24?language=printer#
