I would like to comment on the proposal to allow non-American products to carry the Made in USA badge. The proposal to allow this if 75% of the product is manufactured or assembled in this country really is terrible. Of course this is to sell world manufactured products with a Made in USA label. This badge is the best in the world for many people and countries, so why counterfeit this country’s pride...... profit, profit. profit.

Why is the government is such a rush to destroy what is good in this land. I strongly believe it is expensive to manufacture in this country and you naturally should label it Made in USA. Allowing a change in this practice will simply put people out of work as 25% of a product is exported to pennies /hr labor outside our boulders. Then where is it a fair practice to retail 25% foreign made goods as the real McKoy. I pay more to support American manufacturing do not confuse our label we love.

Are Americans making this decision?
