FTC: Made In The USA Comments Concerning Betty M. Black--P894219 July 28,1997 Secretary Donald Clark Dear Mr. Clark, In Regard to the proposed changes to be made in the "Made in the USA" label regulations, many Americans are VERY upset at the way the label is being plagiarized. Products made in Georgia, Missouri, New York or Michigan are made in the USA. Products made or assembled in Dakarta, Bangkok, Shanghai, Managua or Mexico ARE NOT. We already have great difficulty trusting Politicians and large corporations. Now the FTC is thinking about making it impossible to trust the "Made in the USA" label. I urge you to start thinking about what is good for the USA and to stop these Corporate Raiders as soon as possible. I may be only one person but I am expressing the views of all of my friends and neighbors too. Sincerely, Betty M. BlackBetty M. Black |
