Subject: Made in USA labeling
Distinguished servants of the public trust:
It is your responsibility to regulate labeling so that we, the public, can quickly and reliably determine the nation of origin on the consumer goods we purchase. Those of us who drive American cars in the face of evidence that imports hold value better and last longer feel that we have a duty to our fellows in the workforce and to our grandchildren (that they may work in jobs requiring skills other than saying "ya want fries with that?")....and we feel that it is your duty to maintain existing standards or make them more stringent in order to proudly display the "Made in U S A" label. Please count the votes of our household against any further relaxation of standards in this arena.
