FTC: Made In The USA Comments Concerning Christina Lloyd--P894219 July 20, 1997 Office of the Secretary I am a single working mother of two beautiful children. I try very hard to install good values in my kids. I tell them we do not buy certain products because of child labor or sweatshops. I am writing to ask you to oppose the FTC proposal to change the "Made in USA" label. I look for and buy the clothing and products with this label. I believe to change the label would just give manufacturers more ways to hurt Americans. I want to know I am buying American products made by American people. Thank you for your time.
