RE: Made In The USA Label

Dear Sir:

It is my understanding that the FTC has proposed changing the requirement for the use of the "Made in the USA" label, currently put on products, to include products "SUBSTANTIALLY" made in the USA. I find this type of proposal to be an outrage. I can not believe such a ridiculous proposal would even be given considered.

As a proud American citizen, I always buy when possible, products with the Made in the USA label, and I and my family are very much opposed the changing of the way this label has been used in the past.

Why in the world would any American even consider a proposal to include "Substantially’” in the use of this label anyway? I hope and trust you will use your influence to help those who are in favor of the change to reconsider the proposed.

Thanking you in advance for your time and consideration.

Sincerely,

Donald D. Bracken
