FTC: Made In The USA Comments Concerning Norman and Susan Jacobson--P894219 JACOBSON // ENGINEERING-TECHNICAL SERVICES
July 20, 1997 Federal Trade Commission Gentlemen: This is to request that you NOT relax the 50-year-old rule that "all or virtually all" of a product be made domestically before it can be labeled "Made-in-the-U.S.A." American consumers have a fundamental right to know the truth of the origin of a product they spend their hard earned (heavily taxed) dollar on. As long as your salaries are paid in U.S.A. tax dollars, it is your duty and role as the "U.S.A." Federal Trade Commission to protect that right. Sincerely, Norman JacobsonSusan JacobsonNorman and Susan Jacobson Copy to |
