Dear Senator Breaux,

U. S. working men and women consumers need your help The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) says Made in U. S. A. " in advertisments and on product labels should no longer have to mean what it says.

Currently, for the most part consumers can be confident that "Made in U. S. A." means "all or virtually all "domestic parts and labor, as you know.

To permit less than "all or virtually all" would be to perpetratea fraud on the American public and open even wider the door to U. S. jobs being moved overseas.

The FTC must be called to task by you and the other members of Congress.

Sincerely,

Mary Lamare
