Dear Ms. Miller:

I have enclosed a copy of an e-mail sent to me by my constituent Mitch Stanley. Mr. Stanley is concerned with recent changes in the rule, that determine whether a product may receive the "made in the USA" label. I would appreciate it if you would address his concerns.

If you have any questions please feel free to contact Tiffany Dees, my Legislative Assistant at (202) 225-0855. Thank you for your time.

Sincerely,

Elizabeth Furse

dear congresswoman, I want to object to them changing the content law! I read about this in the wall street journal - stating that they would change the law "made in usa" to allow only 85% u.s.a. material instead of the normal 100%. I think if they say made in usa, it should be! I disagree with their rational of global manufacturing world!!

thankyou, mitch stanley

ps! I would like to see some changes in things 1. the ftc asked for publi comment in the wsj web site! that is a poor sampling of public opinio thus, any federal commission(ftc/fcc/ect) should ask for public comment in tv/radio/newspapers/ect

2. public officials (local, state, federal) should have there names, addres fax, phone, e-mail # listed! this would allow the " people" to be in contact with them.publish quarterly in the aforementioned media .

3. I think it's a shame I had to pay $125 for a federal govt. phone book! I feel the american people should receive one every year - to st in touch with govt. & vice-a-versa!

thankyou,mitch stanley

pss, i sent asimilar message to senator wyden.
