Dear Sirs:

I deplore the new proposal to label “Made-in-the-USA” on anything less than virtually all of the item made in the USA.

Do you realize you people are Americans? Do you want our jobs and money going to non-USA residents? Don't we contribute a rediculously large amount of money for "foreign aid"!? You are contributing to loss of more USA jobs if items or parts of items are made elsewhere!

I cannot see the logic in this. Must we turn ourselves inside-out to accommodate the world at the price of our future and livelyhood?

If a product is made 75% in the USA and 25% in another country -- it should state that, not "Made in the USA"! That is false advertising!

WHY DON'T YOU (I MEAN YOU AND ALL U.S. GOVERNMENT) DO SOMETHING NEW AND THINK ABOUT AMERICANS FIRST INSTEAD OF EVERYBODY ELSE! DON’T WE DO ENOUGH FOR THE WORLD! WHO WOULD HELP US?

A disgusted but loyal American,

Lynne J. Murray
