Gentlemen:

It is has been brought to my attention that the Federal Trade Commission proposes to no longer restrict the use of the “Made in the USA” label in products and advertising for merchandise with “all or virtually all” United States manufactured components which American workers have made.

I believe that only truly American made goods should use the label “Made in the USA.” To do otherwise would be an insult to the citizens of the United States of America.

Please reconsider your decision on this important issue.

Sincerely,

William S. Hiatt
