FTC: Made In The USA Comments Concerning D. M. Taylor--P894219 R. R. 2 Box 30 D Federal Trade Commission In Re:Made in USA Dear FTC: It is of crucial importance for the United States of America that we keep industries here in every field of endeavor. It is a strategic necessity to be able to manufacture everything we need right here, and particularly the weapons and vehicles we must have to protect ourselves and our country in case of war. Contrary to the propaganda on the 'controlled' media, the world is not safe place. To assure our future as a nation and a people, we need a machine tool industry, steel industry, and heavy industry plus stock piles of essential materials. To reestablish and support heavy industry in the United States, we have to buy USA made products exclusively. In store after store there is nothing but inferior products made in far-away places, and even when you find something made in the USA, you may discover that it was only partly made in the USA or that it was falsely so-labeled. When an item is labeled made in USA, it should be entirely made in USA. Sometimes a label deceptively states made in America, which can mean anywhere from the North pole to the South pole. It would be better for. USA manufactured goods to be labeled made in USA, and mean exactly that. Thank you. Yours truly, D. M. TaylorD. M. Taylor |
