Dear Sirs:

We are writing to ask that in order to label a product "MADE IN THE U. S A.," it should contain a manufacturing cost of 98%.

We realize we are in a global economy, however, we must maintain some honesty in what manufacturers label their product.

In our minds, we are paying enough for imported athletic shoes and clothing to be entirely made by U. S. workers.

Personally, I have been working in the U. S. Industry for 40 years, and we should be ashamed of what has happened to U. S. manufacturers.

At least we need to be honest in labeling a product "MADE IN THE U.S.A."

By the way, I am not a union worker, Just a parent with five children, who need to have an opportunity to make a living in the U.S.A. It is apparent that large corporations care less and less about the future of our country. I believe we are becoming more productive and competitive in our manufacturing, and we should not try to fool those of us that look for the "MADE IN THE U.S.A." label.

Very truly yours,

Robert L. Gigger
