Re:5-6-97 Wall Street Journal article, page Bl:

The "Made in U.S.A." label is significant to my purchasing decisions. I consider the proposal to allow its use on items qualifying for 75% domestic involvement to be deceitful and in defiance of intent.

I appreciate the changing manufacturing and marketing factors, but let's be HONEST. Tell me it's "75% American Made" or whatever percentage is accurate. Don't insult my intelligence! I do not wish to be misled nor have my confidence in government statements compromised.
