FTC: Made In The USA Comments Concerning Dorothy K. Helas--P894219 7 West 41st Ave., #327 Jodie Bernstein, Director Dear Ms. Bernstein: It has been called to my attention that the FTC has proposed new guidelines for manufacturers regarding labeling of items sold in the U.S. I am in favor of not changing the guidelines. I always purchase items labeled "Made in USA" when at all possible, which is most of the time. Anything that is not "Made in USA" does not employ people of the U.S., thereby increasing our unemployment statistics. Not only that, the quality of the item is lessened. If it is a garment the workmanship is not of the best quality, sizes are not geared to American sizes. We need to keep American products made in America (the USA), keep Americans employed above all. We are not supporting our own people Very truly yours, Dorothy K. HelasDorothy K. Helas /dkh |
