Re: Made in the U S A

Gentlemen:

I note in to-day’s San Diego Union Tribune that the label "made in the U.S.A." May become even more meaningless than now. My dear friend, Mrs. Annette Quintana, also of Lemon Grove, joins me in protest.

We have sought to purchase items made in the U.S. and have been able to avoid inferior items to some degree, despite the devious methods of labeling.

Please have the label "made in the U.S.A.” be a true and complete truth. Items made Partially by other countries could state so in the label.

NAFTA is a curse inflicted on the U.S.A. The world wide GAFTA will result in virtual peonage of U.S. workers.

Sincerely,

Dorothy E. Geldreich

Dorothy E. Geldreich
