FTC: Made In The USA Comments Concerning Nate Hamilton--P894219 To the United States Government, I am writing in response to the proposal of changing the meaning of “Made in the USA” labels. Why in the world would we want to shoot ourselves in the foot by doing this. It will make it imposible for Americans such as myself to buy a quality product that supports American jobs. And aside from that, it is dishonest to lie to the American public by doing this; and that is all that it is, a simple lie! Saying a product is made 100% in the USA when 25% of it is not, will kill American jobs. Leave it alone! “Made in the USA of imported fabric” is much better than a lie.
