The FTC current ruling declares that for a product to be labeled "Made in the USA", all or virtually all of it must be domestically made. In our view, this is a sensible and fair position. Many American consumers look for "Made in the USA" items when they shop. The consumer is entitled to know where a product is manufactured. We believe any attempt to "fuzzy" that information is wrong. We ask you to stay with your present ruling. Sincerely, David H. Seagraves, CAE Executive Vice President DHS/sdb cc: Alabama Congressional Delegation Members Cary Baker, President, Alabama Textile Manufacturers Association MADE IN THE USA It matters!
