Consumer Information and the Mortgage Market
The FTC’s Bureau of Economics will host a one-day conference to highlight and assess the role of consumer information in the current mortgage crisis from an economic perspective. Experts on real estate economics, information economics, consumer behavior, and consumer information policy will examine how consumer information and information regulation affect consumer choices, mortgage outcomes, and consumer welfare. Pre-registration is not required, but encouraged for planning purposes.

Health Care Clinical Integration
This one-day public workshop will discuss collaborations between health care providers to improve the provision of health care services and reduce costs. The workshop, titled “Clinical Integration in Health Care: A Check-Up,” will feature health care providers, government officials, health insurers and other payers, employers, attorneys, and others who will provide insight on various aspects of “clinical integration” among health care providers.
