The Federal Trade Commission today announced the following action.
Applications for prior approval of transactions: The FTC has received an application for prior approval of a divestiture from the following. The application will be subject to public comment for 30 days, until Sept. 26.
- Schwegmann Giant Super Markets, Inc., of New Orleans, Louisiana, has applied for FTC approval to divest the Canal Villere supermarket at 5245 Veterans Memorial Highway in Metairie, Louisiana, to Rouse’s Enterprises, Inc., of Thibodaux, Louisiana. Schwegmann withdrew an earlier application to divest the store to Economical Super Markets, Inc.
