WHAT: The Federal Trade Commission will announce a new round of law enforcement actions against the fraudulent marketing of supplements and other health products on the Internet at a press conference on Thursday, June 14, 2001 at 10:00 a.m. "Operation Cure.All" targets unscrupulous marketers who use the Internet to prey on the sickest and most vulnerable consumers. The FTC and its partners also will unveil valuable Internet tools that provide consumers with good quality health information.
