Consumer protection in the global electronic marketplace will be the subject of a two-day workshop at the Federal Trade Commission. The workshop to be held on Tuesday, June 8 and Wednesday, June 9, will feature presentations from government, industry, academia and consumer groups. Representatives from Disney, eBay, e-Music, America Online, Intel and MCI WorldCom are among more than 60 panelists. FTC Chairman Robert Pitofsky and U.S. Commerce Secretary William Daley will give opening remarks.
