I saw an article that Microsoft is planning to change their licensing, and monitor and track individual pc's. Is there there any government info about this? Is this on the Oct. agenda?

There should be several questions asked about this. What if someone upgrades there PC? How does someone deal with a crashed PC if the software is only on the hard drive? Is it fair marketing for smaller companies? And, Is normal licensing being side stepped?

I also saw another article about a practice of giving people unique ID's. Isn't this an invasion of privacy?
