Mack Tilling
Mack Tilling is co-founder and CEO of Vizu which operates an online community enabling individuals to view "What the World Thinks" about any issue, whether fun or serious. Users are able to assess public opinion by creating and responding to private or public online polls, and reviewing their results. Vizu has launched a new service, Vizu Answers, which allows market researchers to capture quick, effective consumer insights by polling targeted groups within its network of blogs and websites.
In the early 1990's, Mack founded Instill Corporation, which provides e–commerce, supply–chain management and marketing research services for the foodservice industry. As Chairman and CEO, over the course of a decade Mack helped build Instill into a leading provider of these services to customers including Marriott, Sodexho, Yum! Brands and Subway, as well as food manufacturers such as Procter & Gamble to Coca Cola. Prior to Instill, Mack helped launch a successful restaurant chain, the Gordon Biersch Brewing Company, and spent five years as the company’s Director of Operations. Mack was born and raised in Hong Kong. He received a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Stanford University, and still resides in the San Francisco Bay Area.
