Benjamin Sun
Mr. Sun is President and CEO of Community Connect Inc., a leader in social networking websites for U.S. ethnic groups. Community Connect owns AsianAvenue.com, BlackPlanet.com, and MiGente.com. Mr. Sun is in charge of business growth and strategy at Community Connect and works closely with all departments in the company. Mr. Sun has been a leader in creating opportunities for advertisers to reach ethnic groups online, and was profiled by Crain’s New York Business as one of the top executives under-40 to watch.
Before helping start Community Connect, Mr. Sun worked for Merrill Lynch’s Technology Investment Banking Group where he was heavily involved in corporate finance and mergers and acquisitions in the technology industry. Mr. Sun graduated from the University of Michigan with a B.A. in Economics.
