Sandra Hughes
Sandra R. Hughes holds the position of Global Privacy Executive (CPO) at the Procter and Gamble Company, headquartered in Cincinnati, Ohio. In this role, she implements Procter and Gamble’s privacy program, which has been designed to promote trust among consumers, employees and other constituencies by protecting privacy rights while simultaneously providing products to meet the needs of the consumer. Ms. Hughes is also a member of Procter and Gamble’s Corporate Strategy and Analysis, where she manages New Growth Areas and the Corporate Competitive and Technical Intelligence organization. She is a founding and board member of the Procter and Gamble Information Security council.
Ms. Hughes is on the board of directors of the International Association of Privacy Professionals, and founded the council of CPO’s for RFID/Electronic Product Code Privacy Implementation. She is a frequent participant and speaker at privacy related events and conferences.
