Kamran Pourzanjani
Kamran Pourzanjani is the President and Co-Founder of PriceGrabber.com. He is responsible for the strategic direction, growth and operation of PriceGrabber.com. In 1999, Mr. Pourzanjani saw the incredible opportunity that comparison shopping held and took on a very independent path in founding PriceGrabber.com. His vision for PriceGrabber was to help consumers make the best purchasing decisions and to revolutionize comparison shopping through the Internet. The Company survived and thrived through the post-2000 Internet environment, relying on his entrepreneurial skills and business acumen. His vision has fostered a culture of success and achievement at PriceGrabber, and has built a company, with less than $1.5 million dollars of investment capital into one of the leading online shopping comparison sites today. In recognition of the company’s exceptional growth and performance, Mr. Pourzanjani won the coveted Ernst & Young’s “Entrepreneur of the Year” for the Business Services category in June of 2005 in Los Angeles.
Mr. Pourzanjani has over 22 years experience in developing and managing technology, system integration and software development companies. Prior to working with PriceGrabber.com, Mr. Pourzanjani was President and CEO of Syseca, Inc. He joined Syseca in 1992 and was instrumental in developing this near start-up company into a market and technology leader in its field. He holds a M.S. in Engineering from the University of Colorado.
