Jeannine Kenney
Ms. Kenney began her career on Capitol Hill as a legislative assistant to Senator Russ Feingold (D-WI) from 1993 through 1997, covering food, agriculture, conservation, telecommunications and transportation issues. From 1997 to 1999, she was employed by Consumers Union where she advocated for enhanced food safety and pesticide regulations. Prior to rejoining Consumers Union in 2005, Ms. Kenney was Vice President for Public Affairs and Member Services at the National Cooperative Business Association, a membership organization for consumer-owned cooperatives, where she represented co-ops on Capitol Hill. Ms. Kenney received her B.A. in political science and economics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1988. She is currently working toward her J.D. at Georgetown University Law Center.
