Ari Juels
Dr. Ari Juels is a Principal Research Scientist and manager at RSA Laboratories. In this role, his responsibilities include leadership of RSA Security’s applied research program, technology transfer between RSA Labs and product units and technical management of the patent portfolio. While at RSA, he has also consulted to RSA customers and participated in standards groups. His primary research area is data security, with emphases on authentication, electronic voting, biometrics and financial cryptography.
Dr. Juels served as the Vice Chair of the Security, Privacy and Ethics Track at the WWW2006 Conference, and as a program co-chair at the 2nd IEEE International Workshop on Pervasive Computing and Communication Security, also in 2006. He received his B.A. in Mathematics and Latin Literature from Amherst College, and his Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of California-Berkeley.
