John A. Greco
John A. Greco, Jr., a veteran marketing and trade association executive, is president and chief executive officer of the Direct Marketing Association, a position he has held since August 2004. DMA is the leading global trade association of business and nonprofit organizations using and supporting multi-channel direct marketing tools and techniques, and has more than 3,600 companies from dozens of vertical industries in the U.S. and 50 other nations.
Prior to his work with the DMA, Mr. Greco was the director of AT&T’s Consumer Laboratory Center of Excellence at AT&T Bell Laboratories and AT&T Consumer Communication Services. He then moved to R.R. Donnelley & Sons Company, as senior vice president of marketing and technology for Donnelley’s Financial Business Unit, and also served for three years at the CEO of the Yellow Pages Integrated Media Association. Greco holds a B.S. in Electronic Engineering from Monmouth University and an M.B.A. from Columbia University.
