Cheryl Please, vote for the national do not call registry amendment to the TSR. There has to be a simple, effective, enforceable way for consumers to remove their names from telemarketer lists, especially since new lists seem to be generated every day. Simply telling each telemarketer who calls to remove your name has not been successful and puts the burden repetively on the consumer. As someone who been contacted at all hours of the day and night, at times interfering with serious family or business interactions, I imlore you to put a "do not call" registry into effect. Telemarketing is not freedom of speech, it IS invasion of my privacy. Thank you for your attention to this important amendment. Sincerely, |
