i am very much in favor of establishing a no call list for telemarketers. i would much rather ban them altogether. when my family needs something we already know it. we go out and shop around for that item. it is insulting to have someone call me and suggest what our needs are. they are rude and many times combative when told there is no interest. telling them to put you on their no call list does no good. often i have had the same company call twice in one day. i also have had them call back and hang up on me. we are at their mercy. i pay my phone bill and how i use my phone should be up to me. they have other means of advertising such as newspapers, commercials, and recommendations based on a good product. a true poll of how ev! eryone feels on this subject would show that 99% agree with me. i have never heard anyone say anything different. please do what the american people want.
