Subject: TELEMARKETING REVIEW-COMMENT` in answer to an article printed in the CONSUMMATE CONSUMER in the May 3rd issue of the WASHINGTON POST:
although there has been a slight lessening of abusive phone calls by sales representatives, we're still receiving too many calls. Last week, for example, someone called at 10:00 in the evening and others would not take no for an answer and kept phoning at other inappropriate times even when asked to remove our name and number off the list.
we greatly appreciate the help by the Federal Trade Commission to put a stop to abusive and deceptive practices by telemarketers. We would like to see (and hear) the total termination of them all!
