To whom it may concern:

Thank you for your efforts to protect consumers from deceptive and unfair telemarketing practices. I would like to comment on something that occurs at our home several times per week: telemarketing hang-ups! I understand that some companies use automatic dialers that cause several numbers to be dialed at once. An apparent hang-up often results because the callers can only talk on one call at a time, but frequently more than one household answers in a close time-frame, leaving one household with "dead air." This is extremely annoying and seems to be becoming a more and more prevalent practice. I would like to see this practice stopped.
