The telemarketer talks to the first person who picks up the phone. The rest of the consumers pick up their phone and find a dead line - seems like a wrong number. A few days ago, I got 7 "wrong number hang ups" between 7:30 a.m. and 9 a.m. Is this fair? Now I must let my "machine" screen my calls - but, what about persons who do not have an answering machine for whatever reason. Yours truly, Jane Ann Braddick |
