I am writing on behalf of the Wisconsin Funeral Directors Examining Board in regard to your request for comments concerning the Trade Regulation Rule on Funeral Industry Practices.

At its meeting on May 18, 1999, the Board directed that a response be made only in regard to the definition of Afuneral provider, which means, Aany person, partnership or corporation that sells or offers to sell funeral goods and funeral services to the public.@  The Board simply requests that you change Aand@ to Aor@ in this definition.
