Why is the FTC concerned with this subject as the States have the responsibility for licensing and regulating all businesses in their state. THERE IS NO INTERSTATE COMMERCE IN DEAD BODIES When a person dies in one state and the remains are to be sent to another state the remains must be shipped by a mortician to another mortician. 2. The "NON DECLINEABLE FEE" If I were a mortician this is how I would calculate the fee; Say the annual budget is a Million Dollars and I hope to do 750 funerals. Divide the Million by 750 and the fee will be #1,333.00 All charges above this fee will be clear profit THIS IS A GUARANTEE THAT ALL MORTICIANS WILL MAKE A PROFIT The least the FTC should do for the public is to issus, .at least quarterly, a report of all complaints against any and all morticians (morticians name to be included as to the type of complaint and the results of your investigation including any and all punishment .
