We represent several clients who are participating in an informal group of companies who provide personal database services. This group may wish to make a presentation in response to the March 6, 1997 Federal Register Notice announcing the Workshop to be held on June 10, 1997, including question 1.9 demonstrating that there are beneficial uses of this form of database information. It is the goal of this group to prepare a presentation that will assist the Commission in its important inquiry. At this point, the group has not completed its work. We hope that the Commission, if requested by the group, will provide representatives of the group with an opportunity to make a presentation on June 10th. We appreciate your consideration.
